The Art Gallery - Belogradchik was established on 21.06.1983. Its building used to be a bank but in 1980 the decision was taken for its reconstruction and transformation into an art gallery.
The gallery has three halls. One of them hosts a permanent exhibition, while the other two gradually rotate exhibitions of guest artists, masters of national and artistic crafts and guest galleries.

The exhibition fund includes more than 180 pieces - paintings and engravings. Here one can see original works of Vladimir Dimitrov - Maystora, Stoyan Venev, Ivan Hristov, An- eta Dragushan, Georgi Petrov and Bagit Bapishev. Most of the fund was collected during the international open-air painting events conducted in the town until 1989 with participants featuring renowned painters like Alexander Shumilkin, Branislav Dinich. Wolfgang Tosmel, etc. - artists established not only in their own countries but abroad as well.
